Bob Beck attended St. Edward’s University from 1968 to 1971 during which time he was an All-Conference basketball player for three years, and an All-Conference baseball player for one year. He played on the conference-winning basketball team in 1971 and the conference-winning baseball team in 1969. He received the Most Valuable Player Award and the SEU Outstanding Athlete Award in 1971. His brother, and fellow inductee, Joe Beck, coached him in basketball.
