Burke O’ Rourke attended SEU from 1949 to 1951. He lettered once in baseball in 1949 and twice in basketball in 1949 and 1950. In 1949, O’Rourke won the Knights of Columbus Most Valuable Player Award in baseball. Today he lives in Houston where he is an independent oil operator. He has served on the George W. Strake Foundation and is currently a trustee of SEU. In his free time, O’Rourke enjoys playing golf and reading history and biographies.
