St. Edward's University Athletics

Dave Eckstein attended St. Edward’s University from 1958 to1962, where he earned four letters each in basketball (guard) and baseball (infield). He was named the Knights of Columbus’ Most Valuable Player for baseball and basketball in 1961–1962. Eckstein also received Athlete of the Year in 19611962, and first-team Big State Conference in 1961–1962.
