St. Edward's University Athletics

Ed attended St. Edwards from 1937 to 1941 and was an outstanding football, baseball and basketball player. He was an All-Conference basketball player for two years. In 1945 he joined the SEU faculty and later became Athletic Director. He was the coach of St. Edward’s teams for 19 years, an official of the NAIA, a Commissioner of the Big State Conference for 15 years and the Lone Star Conference for five years. He passed away Oct. 1, 1998.
