St. Edward's University Athletics

Kucera was a four-year letterwinner for the Hilltoppers from 1992 to 1995. During his four years, he was a three-time all-conference selection, two-time all-district honoree and two-time conference doubles champion. He was also named NAIA All-American once and NAIA Academic All-American twice. Kucera was named SEU Male Senior Athlete of the Year in 1995. Kucera went on to become Head Tennis Coach at Waco Midway High School (1996-2001) and is currently an assistant principal in the Waco Midway Independent School District.
