Knorr was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a coach and an administrator. Knorr was the head baseball coach from 1977 to 1985 and also the 1991 and 1992 seasons. He amassed a career record of 317-198, which the most coaching victories in program history. During the 1980 season, he was named Big State Conference Coach of the Year. As an administrator, Knorr lead St. Edward’s as Director of Athletics for more than 20 years. During his tenure, he helped construct the Recreation and Convocation Center, Diane Daniels Field, and the Lewis-Chen Family Field. He also created the Athletic Training, Sports Medicine and Sports Information Programs, along with the creation of the SEU Athletics Hall of Fame. Knorr is currently a professor in the St. Edward’s Kinesiology Department.
