Matthew Hatcher was an honorable-mention All-America selection in 2010 after competing at the NCAA National Championship. A three-time all-region and all-conference selection, Hatcher was the Heartland Conference individual medalist in 2008.
Throughout his four years, Hatcher posted a 73.65 scoring average, which is the fourth-lowest all-time in St. Edward's program history. He shot 12 rounds in the 60s and had a national rating of 45th during his senior campaign. Additionally, Hatcher posted the third-lowest scoring average versus par (1.67) in 2010.
Hatcher was a member of the Hilltopper teams that won three conference championships, made four NCAA regional tournament appearances and was the runner-up at the 2008 NCAA National Championship.
The epitome of a student-athlete, Hatcher was a CoSIDA Academic All-America selection in 2009 and '10.
