St. Edward's University Athletics

Melanie Hudkins was a four-year letterwinner for the Hilltoppers from 1988 to 1991. While at St. Edward’s University, Hudkins was the first-ever volleyball player to be named first-team all-America (1991). She was three-time all-district selection, four-time All-Conference honoree and the Most Valuable Player in the district and conference in 1991.
