St. Edward's University Athletics

Ted Popp graduated from St. Edward’s in 1960. He lettered four years in basketball, playing forward, and one year in baseball, playing outfield. He considers playing basketball on the same team with his brothers, Charlie and Al, as the highlight of his freshman year. Another St. Edward’s highlight was meeting his wife, Donna, who was named St. Edward’s Sweetheart in 1959. Ted is on the St. Edward’s Board of Trustees, a member of the executive committee of the Texas Society of CPAs, president of the San Antonio Chapter of Young, and lives in San Antonio with his wife and their children, Leane, Lynn, Lisa and Ted. His hobbies include hunting and fishing.
