St. Edward's sophomore ANA SOFIA BENAVIDES was named the Heartland Conference Golfer of the Week for the second time in her career.
 
Benavides defeated 61 golfers to win the Hillcat Classic for a second straight year. She collected eight birdies on the way to her fifth top-10 finish of the season. Her play helped the Hilltoppers to their second team title of the season. On the year, Benavides has a 75.12 scoring average, an 87.2 winning percentage, and leads the team in top-10 finishes.
