St. Edward's University Athletics

St. Edward's senior LAUREN SLATTEN was named the Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week for the eighth time in her career. This is also her second honor this season.
 
Slatten came up big in the circle, registering a 2-0 record with a 1.00 ERA. The righthander struck out 11 batters in two complete games. She saved her best for last, tossing a two-hit shutout in the series finale against Texas A&M-International. Slatten has won four of her last five starts.
