DALLAS, Texas – St Edward’s softballer Katelyn Klug was named Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 11-17.
Katelyn Klug extended her streak of innings without giving up an earned run to 14, while leading the Hilltoppers to a 1-0 win over Abilene Christian. Klug fired the first shutout of her career, scattering four singles, three of which never left the infield. Klug walked one in her only appearance of the week, while striking out four. The Wildcats hit .167 off the freshman, while Klug forced ACU to strand all five runners.
