AUSTIN, Texas – St. Edward's libero KELLY JIMENEZ earned her first Heartland Conference Libero of the Week Award for the week of Oct. 21 – 27. This is Jimenez's first conference weekly award as a Hilltopper.
 
Jimenez led the Hilltoppers to a 2-1 week, which included two key victories in conference play, with her play in the back row. During the week she averaged 7.50 digs and one assist per set, while only making three errors in 58 passing attempts. Jimenez best match came against Tarleton State, when she dug out 33 balls, had four assists, and made no errors.
 
Jimenez, who switched to libero six matches ago, has made the most of her move. The junior transfer has tallied 168 digs in 26 sets for an average of 6.46 digs a frame. She also has 17 aces in those seven matches.
