WACO, Texas – Morgan Beckham was named Heartland Conference-Libero of the Week on Monday by the conference office, for her performances from Oct. 5 – Oct. 11. The honor is the Hilltopper’s second of the season and the first of Beckham’s career.
 
The outstanding freshman libero posted a career-high 28 digs against Lubbock Christian before nearly matching that performance with 26 digs in a four-set win over UT Permian Basin. Beckham on the week averaged 6.75 digs per set for St. Edward’s in the back row, and is currently ranked sixth in the league in digs-per-set. The Flower Mound, Texas native has now had four outings with more than 20 digs this season, and has accomplished the feat in three out of her last four.
