St. Edward's University Athletics

Sherrod tossed seven innings of two-hit, shutout baseball on Saturday, helping the Hilltoppers to a 3-0, shutout victory in their 2016 season opener. The preseason all-American is now third in career innings pitched in program history, and five strikeouts put him within 12 of the all-time record on the hilltop. The senior also sits top-10 in St. Edward's record book in four additional career categories.
