Slatten was outstanding in her debut for the Hilltoppers this past weekend. The junior-transfer went 2-1 with her only loss being a tough-luck one in extra innings against #10 Tarleton State. Slatten registered a 1.11 ERA while striking out 20 batters in 19.0 innings of work. In her first game, Slatten tossed a five-hit shutout with seven strikeouts against #10 Tarleton State. In 4.0 innings of relief against Colorado Mines allowed just two hits, while striking out five to pick up the victory.
