Final Results

SAN ANGELO, Texas – The St. Edward's women's golf team took home third place honors Tuesday afternoon in the Concho River Classic at Bentwood Country Club.
 
St. Edward's (304-316=620) ended in third place, 14 shots behind both Newman (305-301=606) and Tarleton State (295-311=606). Newman would capture the team title by virtue of a scorecard playoff.
 
Sandy Livas finished her first tournament as a Hilltopper with a 77 and ended in seventh place overall. Marissa Bransburg (75-79=154) produced a top-10 finish when she tied for eighth place. Haley Haught (77-79=156) was two shots behind Bransburg and ended tied for 16^th place. Johany Rivera (78-81=159) and Brianna Vogel (82-84=166) finished 20^th and tied for 36^th place, respectively. Isabel Morales (81-84=165), playing as an individual, ended tied for 33^rd place.
 
Tarleton State owns the top two individual spots with Casey Wild (70-75=145) and Isabell Jimenez Perea (71-74=145) tying for medalist honors. Courtney Howarth (73-74=147) of St. Mary's finished in third place.
 
The Hilltoppers will be back in action Saturday, October 4^th when they take part in the GolfWeek Invitational in Sunriver, Ore. The two-day event will take place at the Sunriver Resort.
