JENNIFER BOUDREAU gave the Hilltoppers a cushion. Another cornerkick by Lipscomb was sent into the box. Senior
JULIA HARRISON got her head on the ball and flicked it to Boudreau for a 2-0 St. Edward's lead.
HILLTOPPER NOTES
-St. Edward's outshot the Rattlers, 16-8 overall and 7-1 in shots on goal.
-The Hilltoppers have outshot seven of the eight teams they have played this season.
-With the victory, St. Edward's improves its lead in the series history to 29-22-5. The have now won 11-straight in the series.
-The victory also expands the St. Edward's lead in the annual "Battle of the Saints" competition between the two schools to 1.5 to 0.0.
-St. Edward's holds on to first place in the Heartland Conference with 16 points. Dallas Baptist is in second with 15 points.
