Final Results
WICHITA FALLS, Texas –The St. Edward's Women's Golf team moved up two spots on the final day to finish eighth at the Midwestern State Invitational at Wichita Falls Country Club.
St. Edward's (333-314=647) knocked 19 shots off of its first round score on Tuesday. The rally gave the Hilltoppers victories over three ranked opponents and four conference members.
HILLTOPPER NOTES
- Sophomore ANA SOFIA BENAVIDES (84-76=160) led the charge down the stretch carding birdies on holes 15 and 17, as she shot 1-under par on the back nine.
- Benavides ended tied for 23rd place in the 105-person field.
- Junior JOHANY RIVERA (85-76=161) made two birdies during her final round to move up 32 spots and finish tied for 25th place.
- Senior ISABEL MORALES (80-81=161) hung on down the stretch, making seven pars and one birdie in her final eight holes of action.

UP NEXT
The Hilltoppers will be back in action March 20-21 when they travel to compete in the Hillcat Classic. The two-day, 36-hole tournament will take place at Bailey Ranch Golf Club in Owasso, Okla.
