Final Results

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – St. Edward's junior JOHANY RIVERA birdied her final three holes Tuesday to win medalist honors at the Mustang Intercollegiate. The Hilltoppers finished fourth as a team.
 
Rivera (71-70=141) defeated a field of 100 golfers to tally her third victory of the season and sixth of her career.
 
St. Edward's (295-299=594) finished eight shots behind No. 4 Tarleton State (298-288=586) who finished third. Fifth-ranked California Baptist (291-286=577) won the tournament followed by No. 28 West Texas A&M (295-289=584).
 
HILLTOPPER NOTES

• Rivera trailed the leaders by two strokes heading into her last three holes.
• She carded birdies on the par-5 18^th, par-4 first and par-5 second holes to finish off the comeback.
• Rivera produced a tournament-best 11 birdies during her two rounds.
• ISABEL MORALES (69-79=148) tied for the tourney lead with 28 pars while finishing tied for 19^th place.
• Seven of the 19 teams that participated were ranked within the Top-50, nationally.
