AMARILLO, Texas – DUSTIN LEWIS' tie for fourth place overall highlighted St. Edward's University's men's golf's fifth-place finish at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational Tuesday. The Hilltoppers finished 18-under (283-279-284-846) at the three-round event hosted by West Texas A&M.

SEU head men's golf coach Todd Ohlmeyer coached despite grieving his father Don's passing Sunday. Don Ohlmeyer was the former president of NBC television and was one of the original producers of ABC's Monday Night Football. Todd Ohlmeyer landed in Amarillo Sunday to learn his father's battle with cancer ended, while he was in the air, at age 72.

"I would like to thank my team for working so hard while I was gone to be with my father, said Todd Ohlmeyer. "Also, words cannot express how much my family and I appreciate the support of the athletic department, alumni and parents of alumni."

Lewis was named to the All-Tournament team for his fourth-place finish where he finished nine under par (69-68-70-207). HUDSON ROSS' four-under par finish tied him for 15th place (70-70-72-212) as the Hilltoppers' next-best finisher.

St. Mary's won the event finishing 27 under par, Cameron and West Texas A&M tied for second at 22 under, and Texas A&M-Commerce finished fourth at 21 under.
