STONE HAMLIN placed fifth and freshman Josh Akin was 11th in the 91-runner field.
SEU's men scored 60 points behind Southern Maine's 57 points (2nd) and the hosts, Bowdoin College won the event with a meet-low 36 points. The Hilltoppers' women scored 33 points and finished just behind the hosts, Bowdoin College, who finished with 27 points.

Before the men's and women's races they made an announcement thanking us for traveling so far to come to their meet. We are positioning ourselves better for conference. Most of our group ran a PR today. The goal is to be more confident and competitive."
