Armstrong got his revenge in the 79th minute, scoring to tie the game 1-1 and then made good on his promise, capitalizing on a penalty kick in the 80th minute.
The Hilltoppers held on for the 2-1 win, blasting off 23 shots, 11 on goal, while relinquishing nine and allowing no corner kicks.
St. Edward's improves to 8-8-1 on the year and 7-6-1 in the conference. They await to learn their fate in the Heartland Conference Tournament.
