Box Score DALLAS, Texas – St. Edward's used a relentless offensive attack to post a 2-1 win against Dallas Baptist Saturday.
 
Despite 12 shots in the first half the Hilltoppers went into halftime scoreless as did the Patriots.
 
SEU used a more strategic attack in the second half and had the opportunity they were searching for, earning a penalty kick in the 61st minute. The opportunity was fleeting as Tristen Olvera made an impressive save on DYLAN ARMSTRONG's offering to keep the stalemate intact.
 
Armstrong got his revenge in the 79th minute, scoring to tie the game 1-1 and then made good on his promise, capitalizing on a penalty kick in the 80th minute.
 
The Hilltoppers held on for the 2-1 win, blasting off 23 shots, 11 on goal, while relinquishing nine and allowing no corner kicks.
 
St. Edward's improves to 8-8-1 on the year and 7-6-1 in the conference. They await to learn their fate in the Heartland Conference Tournament.
