The NCSA released its latest power rankings, recognizing the best colleges for student athletes, ranking St. Edward's University No. 34 overall in NCAA Division II.
The NCSA Power Rankings aim to find the best schools for student-athletes, incorporating the college desirability among current student-athletes, academic performance, and affordability to help families find the right college fit.
Schools are ranked determining four factors, including student-athlete prospect input collected at the NCSA website, the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges ranking, graduation rates, and average cost after aid.
Women's basketball received the highest ranking at 10, followed by baseball (16), men's track & field (17), women's soccer (21), volleyball (24), men's basketball (24), women's track & field (25), softball (26), and Esports (47).
Cheerleading was added this fall and was not reflected in this year's rankings. Men's soccer will return next fall.
