AUSTIN, Texas—St. Edward's Athletics announces its new mission, vision, and core values statements, which will guide the Hilltoppers into the future. 

The statements and core values were developed internally by a committee of administrators and coaches with continuous feedback from the athletics department, Dr. Lisa Kirkpatrick, Vice President for Student Affairs and Administration, and President Montserrat Fuentes. 
 
"There are many paths to success, but defining one tailored to St. Edward's University is critical. We are in a time of investment and growth in SEU Athletics, and we needed some guidelines to ensure we do both correctly," St. Edward's Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Jim Sarra says. "Our pursuit of competitive success, including winning championships, must align with St. Edward's University's broader vision and mission. To ensure sustainable success, we will build a culture that reflects the University's values of ambition, integrity, and the principles of the Holy Cross Mission, fostering excellence on and off the field."
