2016-17 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR):
• Competed in home tournament in the spring tying for 70^th place overall at the St. Edward’s Invitational Feb. 20-21.
 
2015-16 (JUNIOR):
Redshirted.
 
2014-15 (SOPHOMORE, ADAMS STATE):
Appeared in nine events, averaging 80.82 in 17 rounds of action…had two top-10 finishes during the year.
 
2013-14 (FRESHMAN, ADAMS STATE):
Appeared in nine events, posting an 83.94 scoring average in 18 rounds of work…had two top-five finishes.
 
HIGH SCHOOL:
A four-year letterwinner for Roger Abeyta at Bernalillo High School…named first-team all-state her junior and senior seasons…placed third at state her junior season and fifth her senior season…helped lead team to district championship in both seasons…named high school’s Scholar Athlete of the Year her senior year…also named as a Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete.

PERSONAL:
Shannelle R. Tafoya was born August 7, 1995…daughter of Lorenzo and Mary Tafoya…has three siblings: Jamerson, Monica, and Persinglua…Relative, Katelyn Topponce, played soccer at New Mexico State … Relative, Alexis Tupponce, was on the swimming and diving team at New Mexico State … majoring in sports management…biggest thrill was representing the Notah Begay III Foundation and New Mexico at the 2012 Ryder Cup Junior Academy at the PGA Village in Florida.
