• 2015 SECOND-TEAM ALL-HEARTLAND CONFERENCE – DOUBLES
• 3-TIME HEARTLAND CONFERENCE COMMISSIONER’S HONOR ROLL RECIPIENT
 
2016-17 (JUNIOR):
• Posted an overall singles record of 14-8 with a 3-1 mark in Heartland Conference play.
• Went 10-19 in doubles action with a 1-3 conference record.
• Closed the season undefeated at No. 4 singles.
 
2015-16 (SOPHOMORE): Registered a 13-20 singles record and an 11-20 doubles record…playing primarily at No. 1 doubles, she produced an 8-15 record.
 
2014-15 (FRESHMAN): Compiled an overall record of 4-7 in singles and 14-13 in doubles…posted a record of 1-3 in singles tournament play…went undefeated playing No. 2 singles and 2-4 in the six spot…collected one win and one loss in Heartland Conference Action...went 3-5 when paired with Francesca Caher in doubles, and 11-8 when teamed with Rafaela Haegele at the No. 3 doubles spot…only suffered one loss in Heartland Conference doubles, going 4-1 on the season.
 
PREP: Played for head coach John Kessler at University High School in Irvine, Calif…named all-county her senior year…helped lead team to runner-up finish in in SoCal Championship her junior season…ranked in singles for Southern California her sophomore year (#192), her junior season (#120), and her senior season (#117)…was also ranked in the top-40 her senior season for doubles.

PERSONAL: Marissa Ann Williams was born on Nov. 13, 1995…daughter of Paul and Angie Williams…has one sibling: Peirce…majoring in kinesiology at St. Edward’s with career aspirations to become a physical therapist…also enjoys reading, writing, and going to the beach…her biggest athletic thrill was playing in her high school’s regional finals…her mother played collegiate tennis at TCU and her grandfather (Alex Olmedo) was Wimbeldon Championship and Australian Open Champion in 1959 and represented the USA in Davis Cup play in 1958.
