Junior (2013): Started in 19 of 22 games recording a total of 1,405 minutes…scored nine goals and completed three assists…she had 21 points on the year…tallied 58 shots with 21 shots on goal…her best performance came during a match against St. Mary’s (11/4) where she converted two shots on goal for two goals.
 
Sophomore (2012): Played in 21 matches while starting 20 of them…played in a total of 1,166 minutes…recorded 37 total shots with 14 of them reaching the goal… totaled 17 points on the year…scored six goals including the game winner against St. Mary’s (10/4)…recorded five assists on the year…had two assists against McMurry (9/22).
 
Freshman (2011): Saw action in 14 matches for the Hilltoppers during her first season…recorded a total of 603 minutes…scored six goals and added an assist for a total of 13 points, third overall on team…her multi-goal games came against TAMU-International (10/8/11) and Newman (10/15/11)…tallied 28 total shots with 13 making their way on goal…SOG% of .464.

Club: Played for Don Cameron on the Lonestar Soccer Club…Cameron said, “Megan is a great competitor who has an excellent passing range long and short”…he adds that “she will be a great asset for the Hilltopper Program”.

Prep: Lettered two years at James Bowie High School…was named to the honorable mention team in 2009…helped her team to the regional finals of the 25-5A playoffs…earned all-district second-team honors during the 2010 season…during that season she helped her team reach a rank of third in the state…they went on to win the district championship, regional championship, before losing in the state semifinals…member of the Earth Club and Debate Team.
 
Personal: Megan Leigh Anderson was born on May 10, 1993…daughter of Matt and Lucinda Anderson of Austin, Texas…has one sibling: Blake (19)…currently an undeclared major, but would like to pursue a career in interior design…enjoys playing soccer and volunteering with the Special Olympics…her biggest athletic thrill is being able to play in the state soccer tournament…she recalls it as being a blast, but tough as well.
