Sophomore (2013-14): In her first season with the Hilltoppers she competed in 28 rounds of golf, recording an average score of 78.9...compiled a win-loss record of 517-292 (.639)…had her best round of 72 at the Lady Rattler Roundup leading her to a season-best fourth-place finish…had five top-10 finishes.
 
Freshman 2012-13 (McLennan CC (Texas)): Named honorable mention all-America and first-team all-region…also All-Tournament honors at the NJCAA National Tournament after finishing 12^th…made a hole-in-one at the tournament.
 
Prep: Lettered four years at Montgomery High School in Montgomery, Texas…competed in more than 100 tournaments, claiming 11 championships and more than 40 top-10 finishes…helped her team win back-to-back state championships…named the team’s most valuable player and captain in 2010…won third place individually at the 2010 Texas State Championship.

Personal: Marissa Renee Bransburg was born on July 9, 1992…daughter of Steve Bransburg Jr. and Renee Jones of Montgomery, Texas…has one sibling Steve (26)…plans to study general studies at St. Edward’s…her hobbies include playing golf and horseback riding…her biggest athletic thrill is making a hole-in-one at the NJCAA National Tournament.
