2016 (JUNIOR):

• Posted a season-best 8K time of 29:58.1 at the Heartland Conference Championship (10/22)

2015 (SOPHOMORE):
Appeared in six meets for the Hilltoppers…finished a season-best 10^th at the Southwestern Invitational (10/16)…had his best time in the 8K (29:46) at the Our Lady of the Lake Invitational (9/12).
 
2014 (NORTHERN COLORADO - FRESHMAN): Attended and competed at the University of Northern Colorado
 
PREP: 
A three-time letterwinner in cross country at Temecula Valley High School under coach Gary Polhill…also won four letters in track and field…served as team captain for two years…competed in the 1600 and 3200 meters in track…assisted with high school cross country camps…member of the astronomy club, and literary magazine club…winner of the Principal’s Academic Award, Astronomy Student Award, and on the honor roll…has three poems published in The Cave.

Nicholas James Leitgeb was born on September 12, 1995…son of Richard and Celeste Leitgeb…has three siblings: Chanel, Zane and Dillon…majoring in environmental science and policy at St. Edward’s…hobbies include: archery, hiking, camping, creative writing, and film…racing at Mt. SAC is his biggest athletic thrill
