Junior (2015-16): Competed in 10 events for the Hilltoppers, averaging 75.1 per round in 28 rounds of action…registered a 58.2 percent winning percentage with four top-20 finishes…had a season-best finish at the St. Mary’s Men’s Invitational (10/12-13) where ended tied for 14th place…shot a season-low 70 in the opening round of the Jackrabbit Invitational (3/7-8).
 
Sophomore (2014-15): Competed 11 events for the Hilltoppers, averaging 75.4 per round in 29 rounds of action...registered a .600 (529-353) win-loss percentage…shot a season-low 69 at the Heartland Conference Championship…best finish was a tie for seventh at the St. Mary’s Invitational.
 
Freshman (UC-Colorado Springs) (2013-14): Competed in eight events for the Mountain Lions, averaging 74.86 per round in 22 rounds of action…had a season-best fifth-place finish at the Bruce Williams Memorial, which included a 70…was named UCCS Freshman Athlete of the Year…also named third-team all-conference.
 
Prep: Lettered four seasons at Lake Travis High School…helped lead Cavaliers to back-to-back state titles his junior and senior seasons…was named first-team all-state and academic all-state his senior year…also led team to a runner-up finish his freshman season…was named first-team all-region his junior season.
 
Personal: Joseph Charles Hearn was born Dec. 1, 1994…son of Steve and Nancy Hearn…has two siblings: Katie (18) and Kelly (16)…plans to major in International Business with hopes of playing professional golf or owning his own business…biggest thrill was helping his Lake Travis team shoot a school-record 11-under to come back and win Texas State Championship his senior season.
