Originally from Hull, England, Tom Shortland is currently the Volunteer Assistant Coach for the St. Edwards Women’s soccer team and serves as the Head of Girls Player Development at Lonestar Soccer Club. With over a decade of coaching experience, Tom has played a pivotal role in the development of players who have advanced to prestigious collegiate programs, including the University of North Carolina, UCLA, and USC, as well as represented national teams such as the United States and Colombia. His commitment to fostering talent and enhancing player skills makes him a valuable asset to the St. Edwards program and the broader soccer community.
