Prep: Played for head coach David Rubinson at Fort Worth Arlington Heights High School…helped lead team to area round of the playoffs her junior season as she was named second-team all-district…was named her team’s most valuable player her senior season…went 12-0 with 11 total shutouts while also scoring three goals in district play her senior season…was a Yellow Jacket Scholar, athletic scholar and a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council.
 
Personal: Vanessa Lizette Sigala was born March 23, 1998…daughter of Joel and Esmeralda Garcia…has two siblings: Alexis (16) and Tiffany (4 months)…plans to major in forensic science…enjoys drawing and jewelry…biggest athletic thrill was scoring a hat trick in the second half after being goalkeeper in the first half.
