Tomas was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and raised in the Round Rock area. He began his coaching career 15 years ago in Austin with RR Crossfire before joining Austin Texans.
He later moved to Madrid, Spain, where he completed his UEFA coaching licenses and earned a master’s degree in strength and conditioning through the Spanish Olympic Committee. During his five years in Spain, Tomas coached boys’ teams at Lugo Fuenlabrada, helped develop the Getafe International Program, led the U16 and U18 girls’ teams at Real Madrid (formerly CD Tacón), and served as an assistant coach and strength and conditioning coach for third-division women’s club Olímpico de Madrid.
After returning to the United States, Tomas spent four seasons coaching at the ECNL level with Sting Austin.
