AUSTIN, Texas – St. Edward’s men’s basketball player Shimeek Johnson was named Heartland Conference Player of the Week for the Week of Feb. 18-24. This was his first conference award this season, and fourth of his career.
 
Shimeek Johnson averaged 22 points, 5.5 rebounds and three assists per game en route to helping the Hilltoppers to a 2-0 weekend sweep of Texas-Permian Basin and Oklahoma Panhandle State.
