Katie Donahue was named Heartland Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Year this past week.

Donahue, who led the Hilltopper back line to 10 shutouts and 0.52 goals against average on the season, has found an offensive spark as of late. Much to the dismay of St. Mary's, Donahue scored the game-winning goal against the Rattlers in the regular season finale and the golden goal Thursday in the Heartland Conference semifinals for her only two goals of the season. Donahue, who was a third-team all-America selection last season, repeats as a first-team selection.
