DALLAS, Texas - St. Edward's women's golfer Haley Haught was named Heartland Conference Golfer of the Week Wednesday afternoon by the league office. She is recognized for the week of March 11-17. This is Haught's third player of the week award this season and 10th of her career.

Haught finished tied for 10th in a field of top-ranked teams at the Barry Women's Invitational in Miami Shores, Fla. The field included eight of the top 10 teams in the nation. Haught's play was good enough to defeat the numbers one and two ranked players in the nation. Her total of 220 for the three rounds was a key factor in the Hilltoppers' seventh place team finish.
