DALLAS, Texas – St. Edward's junior SANDY LIVAS was named Heartland Conference Women's Golfer of the Week by the league office Wednesday afternoon. This was Livas' first player of the week honor of her career.
 
Livas led her team to its second-consecutive runner-up finish. The only team to beat the Hilltoppers at the UIS Island Getaway was the defending national champions, Indianapolis. Livas shot 76 and 76 for a total of 152 to finish in fifth place, just three shots behind the leader. The top-five finish is her second of the season. She currently boasts a 77.0 scoring average and a 211-54 (79.6%) winning percentage.
