Final Results

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The #3 St. Edward's women's golf team separated themselves from the pack on the second day of the RCB Classic and came away with another first-place finish. The Hilltoppers shot a 292 today after shooting a 296 to total 588 for the two days.

Dallas Baptist entered the day tied with St. Edward's, but shot a 301 today and finished in third place with a total of 597. Southwestern Oklahoma State came in second with a score of 594. Newman (599) and Central Oklahoma (600) rounded out the top five. 

WALLIS SPEARS shot a 71 in today's round to give her a team-best overall of 144. Spears tied for the second best individual score in the Classic. HALEY HAUGHT shot a 73 today after shooting a 72 yesterday to total 145. RYANNE HADDOW improved by three strokes from yesterday's 77 today to total 151. JESSICA TAMEN shot a 78 today after shooting a 74 yesterday to total 152. MELISA GONZALEZ improved by five strokes from yesterday's 79 to total 153.

The best individual score of the Classic went to Anna Arrese Cortadellas of Oklahoma Christian who shot a 143 over the two days. Tied with Spears in second place were Macie Seeker of Dallas Baptist and Rebecka Surtevall of Arkansas Tech.

The #3 Hilltoppers' next tournament will be the Harold Funston Invitational  in Huntsville, Texas on October 10^th.
