Coach McNeil had this to say after the win, “We played another solid round this morning after a forty-five minute rain delay. It was nice to see the girls respond so well despite the delay and no time to warm-up. We had tremendous production from all players from one to six, which was also exciting to watch. I'm very proud of all of the girls and I hope they use this victory as a stepping stone for future tournaments."
The Hilltoppers' next tournament will be the UCO/Mahogany Classic in Oklahoma City, Okla. on Oct. 1-2. The two-day tourney will take place at the Lincoln Park East Golf Club.
