Final Results
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The St. Edward's men's golf team finished the Macdonald Cup in eighth place after shooting a 293 during the final round of the tournament. The tournament was held at the par-70, 6,479 yard Yale University golf course. The tournament consisted of 15 teams and the Hilltoppers were the only Division II team competing in the Division I field.
ENRIQUE LIVAS shot a team best 71 during the second round to finish the tournament tied for seventh place. Livas finished the weekend with a stroke total of 140.
JOSE HERNANDEZ followed up his first round performance with a 73 to complete the tournament tied for 15
th place.
BRIAN SMITH completed his second round with a five-over 75. He finished with a 148-stroke total and tied for 39th on the weekend.
ANDRES RODAS and
DREW BELL finished by bettering their first-round scores. Rodas shot a 74 for a weekend total of 150, and Bell completed the day with a 76 and a total of 153. Rodas finished in a tie for 52
nd and Bell ended the tournament tied for 63
rd.

Todd Ohlmeyer said, “Enrique had a great tournament in his first event of the season. We showed signs of good play this week and are headed in the right direction.”
The Hilltoppers will be back in action on Monday October 8, as they compete in the Ryan Palmer Classic. The two-day event will take place at the Tascosa Country Club in Amarillo, Texas.
