Final Results
DALLAS, Texas – The St. Edward's women's golf team earned its second win of the fall season at the Dallas Baptist Classic on Tuesday afternoon. The Hilltoppers defeated Tarleton State by eight strokes and Arkansas Tech by nine. St. Edward's ousted Heartland Conference rival and host Dallas Baptist by 23 strokes.
HALEY HAUGHT continued her success from round one. She shot a second round of 75 and finished tied for fifth place individually. Teammate
MARISSA BRANSBURG also shot a 75 on day two and finished her second round with an overall score of 149. Bransburg finished alone in seventh place.
ALYSSA SMITH finished third amongst her teammates and ninth individually overall. Smith shot a 77 during round two and finished the tournament with a score of 151. Senior All-American
RYANNE HADDOW improved on her round one score by three strokes with a 76 on the second day of action. Haddow completed the tournament with an overall score of 155 and finished in 15
th.
Freshman
BRIANNA VOGEL finished her first collegiate tournament with a second round score of 79 and an overall score of 156. Vogel's scores were good enough for her to earn a 16
th place finish individually.
ISABEL MORALES competed for the Hilltoppers individually at the Dallas Baptist Classic. Morales bettered her first round score by four strokes posting an 80 on the scorecard. She finished the tournament with a score of 164 and tied for 42
nd.
The St. Edward's golf competed in a field of 83 participants and the Hilltoppers didn't have anybody finish outside the top-16 that competed as a team.
St. Edward's finished in the top three of all scoring categories including first in par-4 scoring with an average score of 4.27. The Hilltoppers also sank 28 birdies; the most of any team in the field. St. Edward's also made 99 pars, good enough for second overall, only two pars shy of tying for the lead.
The Hilltopper squad continued their statistical dominance through the second day of competition. Haught finished tied for second in par-5 scoring, and Vogel finished tied for third in the same category. Vogel came in second overall with nine birdies made overall while Haught came in third with eight birdies.
ALYSSA SMITH finished third with 24 pars made, and Bransburg finished tied for sixth with 21 pars.

Jennifer McNeil commented on her team's success at the Dallas Baptist Classic, "I'm thrilled to pick up our second win of the season. We have started to really mesh as a team and trust in everyone's game. It was exciting to watch them play with such confidence and belief. We are excited for Sonoma next week to wrap up our fall season."
The Hilltoppers will be back in action on October 21
st at the Sonoma State Fall Invitational for their final tournament of the fall season. St. Edward's looks to capture its third win of the fall season. The two-day event takes place at the 5,816-yard, Par-72 Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club.
