How it Happened
-St. Edward's shot a 309 today to add with yesterday's 304 for a total of 613. They were bested by Tarleton State by 17 strokes and defeated Dallas Baptist by nine strokes.
-Individually, MELISA GONZALEZ led the way for the Hilltoppers today with a score of 74. Gonzalez' total of 150 is tops on the team and she finished in third place.
-RYANNE HADDOW, WALLIS SPEARS, and JESSICA TAMEN all improved or matched yesterday's score. Haddow matched yesterday's 78 for a total of 156, Spears improved by two strokes today with a 77, and Tamen improved by five strokes for an 80.
-HALEY HAUGHT struggled some today with an 82. Still, Haught is second on the team with a total of 153.
 
Beyond the Box Score
-Gonzalez had the third best score overall with 150. Gonzalez fell to Isabell Jimenez Perea (142) and Jaqueline Lau (145) of Tarleton State.
-Three other Hilltoppers ranked among the top 12 players. Haught is tied for sixth overall with a score of 153 while Haddow and Spears are each tied for 12^th  with a score of 156.

The Hilltoppers will be back in action Monday when they host the St. Edward's Invitational. The 36-hole, two-day tournament will take place at Grey Rock Golf Club in South Austin.
