Hilltoppers headed to NCAA National Tournament after winning NCAA West Super Regional

The Basics
-Scores: St. Edward's 932 (1st place), Grand Canyon 943 (2nd place), Tarleton State 950 (3rd place), Dallas Baptist 950 (4th place), Sonoma State 961 (5th place).

How it Happened
-St. Edward's shot a round of 303 today and finished the NCAA West Super Regional with a total of 932, an eleven-stroke advantage over second place Grand Canyon. Tarleton State and Dallas Baptist tied for third place with a total of 950. Tarleton State and Dallas Baptist played a full-team tiebreaker and were still tied after each team shot a combined 17 on the 18th hole. Tarleton State won the second tiebreaker by seven strokes when adding all five players scores from all three rounds. The TexAnns will join Grand Canyon and St. Edward's in Daytona Beach for the national tournament. In 5th place was Sonoma State with a total of 961.
-Individually, HALEY HAUGHT shot a round of 76 today and finished with a total of 231, which was the best score among the Hilltoppers and tied for third overall.
-WALLIS SPEARS remained consistent by shooting a round of 77 today. Spears finished tied for fifth place with a total of 232.
-TAYLOR MORENO finished tied for 12th place with a total of 237. Moreno shot a round of 82 today.
-RYANNE HADDOW's round of 74 today was the best third round score among the Hilltoppers. Haddow finished tied for 17th place with a total of 238.
-MELISA GONZALEZ had her best day of the regional with a round of 76. Gonzalez finished tied for 30th with a total of 245.
 
Beyond the Box Score
-The Hilltoppers had two players place inside the top-five overall and four players place inside the top seventeen overall.
-Charlotte Jaengkit of Grand Canyon and Spencer Heller of Sonoma State tied for first place overall with a total of 230.
