Live VideoLive StatsDALLAS, Texas – The St. Edward's Volleyball team will head to Arkansas for the 2014 Heartland Conference Volleyball Tournament this weekend with an automatic berth to the NCAA South Central Regional on the line.
St. Edward's (17-7) finished the regular season as the number two seed and will open up in the semifinals of the tourney against Newman Friday at 7:30 p.m. The Hilltoppers and Jets split a pair of matches this season with each team winning on the other's home floor. Host, and top seed, Arkansas Fort Smith will take on fourth-seeded St. Mary's Friday at 5 p.m. The winners of each semifinal contest will meet Saturday at 1 p.m. in the championship match.
All tournament games will take place at the Stubblefield Center on the campus of UA Fort Smith. Live video and stats will be available on the Lion Athletic Website. Tickets for the tourney will be $4 for students, $6 for adults, and $10 for a two-day pass.
