HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Hilltoppers put the game away in the 75
th minute. After senior
JENNIFER BOUDREAU tipped the ball off of the Dallas Baptist goalkeeper, the ball bounced right to junior
GRACEN JACKS. The midfielder ripped a low line drive to net for a 2-0 Hilltopper lead.
HILLTOPPER NOTES
-St. Edward's outshot the Patriots, 14-0. This was the second time this season that the Hilltoppers have held the opposition without a shot.
-With the victory, St. Edward's improves its lead in the series history to 25-10. They have now won two-straight in the series.
-St. Edward's increases its lead in the Heartland Conference with 22 points. Dallas Baptist is in second with 18 points.

"We always know it is going to be battle with Dallas Baptist. The girls came out focused today, and we really concentrated on the defensive end. They may have not had any shots, but they had some dangerous chances. Our defense was solid today and limited those chances."
