2016 St. Edward's Volleyball Game Notes

FORT SMITH, Ark. – St. Edward's volleyball faces second-seeded Lubbock Christian in the first round of the Heartland Conference Tournament at 7:30 p.m. Friday inside the Stubblefield Center.
 
A victory for the Hilltoppers would advance them to the championship match. The other side of the bracket features top-seeded Arkansas Fort Smith against fourth-seeded Newman.
 
It is St. Edward's 14th trip to the Heartland Conference Tournament in school history. The Toppers are 18-12 all-time in the conference tournament with one tournament title in 2004. The Hilltoppers split the regular-season series with Lubbock Christian, winning 3-2 at home on Oct. 6 before falling 3-0 in Lubbock in November.
