WICHITA FALLS, Texas –
The St. Edward's men's soccer team will open its Heartland Conference Tournament title defense Friday in the semifinals against West Texas A&M.
The 13th-ranked Hilltoppers claimed the second seed in the tournament after finishing the regular season with an 11-2-1 conference record.
The semifinals begin Friday at 5 p.m. with St. Edward's and the Buffs squaring off, while No. 1 Midwestern State hosts No. 4 Newman at 7:30 p.m. in the second match. The two winners will meet Sunday at 1 p.m. in the championship match.
