AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communicators announced its 2025 Men's Soccer Academic All-District Teams, with five St. Edward's Hilltoppers earning recognition for their academic and athletic excellence.
 
IZAIAH GARZA, TIMMY HOLLENBECK, CHRISTIAN MEZAS, ARTHUR SOUZA, and SHUNJI WATANABE all earned Academic All-District honors, with Mezas and Watanabe automatically eligible for Academic All-American consideration due to receiving all-conference honors.
 
All-District nominations must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and enrolled at their institution full-time at the time of said nomination. An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Graduate students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 as both undergraduate and graduate students. 
 
Soccer players must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches or start in at least 66 percent of them. Souza and Garza also received LSC All-Academic Team honors.
