LAREDO, Texas – St. Edward's University's volleyball team won its second-straight Heartland Conference matchup Thursday with a 25-19, 25-18, 20-25, 25-23 win over Texas A&M-International.
The Hilltoppers (14-7, 4-3) hit .270 and limited the Dustdevils (2-19, 0-7) to a .070 hitting mark en-route to victory. Senior Katie Maritn led SEU with 13 kills on a .435 hitting percentage while
KATE HENDRIX added 10.
MORGAN BECKHAM led an SEU defensive effort with seven digs, the sixth of which placed her ninth all-time on SEU's career digs list with 1,574.
SEU out-blocked TAMIU 10-1 with
MIKAYLA PARKER leading with five blocks for the Hilltoppers, and the Dustdevils could not overcome 32 attacking errors.

KATIE MARTIN surpassed the 800-career kills mark with her fifth of the match vs. TAMIU; she has 41 matches with double-digit kills in her career.

KATE HENDRIX had 10 kills marking the 13th time in her career with at least 10 kills in a match.

MIKAYLA PARKER's five total blocks (four solo) marks the 24th time in her career she's had at least five.

MORGAN BECKHAM moved to ninth all-time on SEU's career lists for digs Thursday with her sixth dig (7 in the match); she passed Tessa Kubena (1,572, 1995-98) on the list and has 1,574 career digs.

MADISON HEALD led the Hilltoppers with 20 assists; it marked the fourth time this season she's had at least 20, and her 18th assist of the match was her 250th of the season.
